Online Sodium Analyser

AccuSeries LPA online wet chemistry analyser

Online Sodium Analyser with AccuSeries

AccuSeries can be configured for sodium measurement using an ion-selective electrode method aligned with ASTM D2791. A sodium ISE and resistance temperature detector support the potentiometric measurement, with a typical analysis time of 7 to 10 minutes.

Sodium measurement is application-specific: confirm the expected range, ionic conditions, sample composition, temperature, number of streams and required outputs with PMA before selection. Review the online ion-selective electrode analyser, the boiler water analysis application page and the wider AccuSeries platform.

Programmable online sodium analysis

The programmed sequence controls sampling, ionic-strength adjustment, electrode measurement, temperature compensation and result calculation for the configured sodium method.

01 / CONFIGURED METHOD

A method matched to sodium and the process

The approved sodium method uses a sodium-selective glass membrane, an ionic-strength adjustment buffer and temperature measurement to produce the concentration result.

  • Approved method for sodium
  • Configured range and sample matrix
  • Method-specific sodium result calculation

A controlled sodium measurement sequence

Each sodium result follows a configured sampling, reagent, measurement, calculation and maintenance sequence.

01.

Capture the sample

The internal fast loop and sample mechanism provide a representative, consistent sample volume for sodium analysis.

02.

Add method reagents

The programmed sequence adds the configured ionic-strength adjustment buffer before electrode measurement.

03.

Run the configured method

The sodium ion-selective electrode and temperature detector measure under controlled conditions aligned with the configured method.

04.

Calculate the sodium result

The analyser relates the glass-membrane potential to sodium concentration and applies the configured temperature compensation and calculation.

05.

Calibrate

Automatic calibration can run against configured sodium standards at selected intervals.

06.

Clean

Automatic cleaning supports the sodium measurement system between planned maintenance visits.

Designed for practical sodium monitoring

The modular AccuSeries design keeps wet-chemistry components accessible while sodium results, diagnostics and method controls remain available through the interface.

Touchscreen

Clear access to sodium results, status and analyser functions.

Data logging

Integrated sodium result storage with USB export.

Separate compartments

Electronic and wet-chemistry sections are physically separated.

Low reagent use

Small reagent volumes help control sodium measurement costs.
