Online Fluoride Analyser

AccuSeries LPA online wet chemistry analyser

Online Fluoride Analyser with AccuSeries

AccuSeries can use ion-selective electrode methods for fluoride measurement across suitable drinking-water, process-water and wastewater duties. The concentration range, ionic strength, sample preparation and interferences are reviewed for each application. Read PMA’s independent fluoride application guide for wider measurement context.

Every configuration is application-specific. Confirm the analyte, expected range, sample composition, temperature, suspended solids, number of streams and required outputs with PMA before selection. Explore the AccuSeries online wet chemistry analyser and its water and process applications.

Fluoride ISE and SPADNS colorimetry

Galvanic documents two fluoride measurement routes: an ion-selective electrode with controlled sample conditions, or SPADNS colorimetry. Selection depends on the concentration range, sample matrix, interferences and the reference method used to verify the online result.

FLUORIDE METHOD OPTIONS

Control the sample chemistry before measurement

The fluoride ISE sequence uses an ionic-strength-adjusting buffer to control measurement conditions; standard known addition can be used in a configured low-range method. In SPADNS colorimetry, fluoride reduces the colour of a zirconium-dye reagent. The measured loss of colour is related to the fluoride concentration.

  • Confirm the measuring range and the required fluoride reporting basis.
  • Review pH, ionic strength, colour and known interfering constituents.
  • Agree calibration standards, any dilution and comparison with the laboratory.

A controlled fluoride measurement sequence

Each fluoride result follows a configured sampling, reagent, measurement, calculation and maintenance sequence.

01.

Capture the sample

The internal fast loop and sample mechanism provide a representative, consistent sample volume for fluoride analysis.

02.

Add method reagents

The programmed sequence doses the reagents required for the selected fluoride method.

03.

Run the configured method

The approved fluoride method proceeds under controlled conditions.

04.

Calculate the fluoride result

The measured response is converted into the configured fluoride concentration result.

05.

Calibrate

Automatic calibration can run against configured fluoride standards at selected intervals.

06.

Clean

Automatic cleaning supports the fluoride measurement system between planned maintenance visits.

Designed for practical fluoride monitoring

The modular AccuSeries design keeps wet-chemistry components accessible while fluoride results, diagnostics and method controls remain available through the interface.

Touchscreen

Clear access to fluoride results, status and analyser functions.

Data logging

Integrated fluoride result storage with USB export.

Separate compartments

Electronic and wet-chemistry sections are physically separated.

Low reagent use

Small reagent volumes help control fluoride measurement costs.
