Online Ammonia and Ammonium Analyser
Configure AccuSeries for online ammonia or ammonium measurement in wastewater, drinking water and industrial process streams. PMA matches the analytical method, range, sampling and automatic calibration plan to the sample matrix and the result your operators need.

Online Ammonia and Ammonium Analyser with AccuSeries
AccuSeries supports configurable online methods for ammonia and ammonium across water, wastewater and industrial applications. Automated sampling, reagent addition, calibration and cleaning provide repeatable process information for treatment control and effluent monitoring. Read PMA’s independent ammonia and ammonium application guide for wider measurement context.
Every configuration is application-specific. Confirm the analyte, expected range, sample composition, temperature, suspended solids, number of streams and required outputs with PMA before selection. Use the ammonia and ammonium specification guide to prepare the method, range and sample information for review. Explore the AccuSeries online wet chemistry analyser and its water and process applications.
Choose the ammonia measurement method deliberately
Ammonia and ammonium method selection starts with the result you need: the chemical form, reporting basis and concentration range. Galvanic documents ammonia ISE and colorimetric methods, with different reagent sequences and analysis times. The names are not interchangeable specifications.
AMMONIA METHOD OPTIONS
ISE or salicylate colorimetry
The documented ammonia ISE sequence adds an ionic-strength-adjusting buffer and raises the sample pH before measurement. Salicylate colorimetry instead develops a coloured compound for optical measurement. A low-concentration ISE configuration may use standard known addition; PMA confirms the complete method and matrix suitability.
- State whether results are required as nitrogen, ammonia or ammonium.
- Specify the sample pH, temperature and possible chemical interferences.
- Compare the required response with the complete sampling and analysis cycle.
02 / AUTOMATIC OPERATION
Sampling, calibration and cleaning
Programmable routines support repeatable ammonia and ammonium measurement while diagnostics and alarms alert users to changing analyser or process conditions.
- Automatic sampling
- Automatic calibration
- Automatic cleaning
A controlled ammonia and ammonium measurement sequence
Each ammonia and ammonium result follows a configured sampling, reagent, measurement, calculation and maintenance sequence.
01.
Capture the sample
The internal fast loop and sample mechanism provide a representative, consistent sample volume for ammonia and ammonium analysis.
02.
Add method reagents
The programmed sequence doses the reagents required for the selected ammonia and ammonium method.
03.
Run the configured method
The approved ammonia and ammonium method proceeds under controlled conditions.
04.
Calculate the ammonia and ammonium result
The measured response is converted into the configured ammonia and ammonium concentration result.
05.
Calibrate
Automatic calibration can run against configured ammonia and ammonium standards at selected intervals.
06.
Clean
Automatic cleaning supports the ammonia and ammonium measurement system between planned maintenance visits.
Designed for practical ammonia and ammonium monitoring
The modular AccuSeries design keeps wet-chemistry components accessible while ammonia and ammonium results, diagnostics and method controls remain available through the interface.
Touchscreen
Clear access to ammonia and ammonium results, status and analyser functions.
Data logging
Integrated ammonia and ammonium result storage with USB export.
Separate compartments
Electronic and wet-chemistry sections are physically separated.
Low reagent use
Small reagent volumes help control ammonia and ammonium measurement costs.
